A very comfortable shoe. I usually wear a 10, so I ordered these in that size. They had a little more space for my toes than a prior pair (a few years ago), but I purchased some nice slightly thicker socks (Thorlos) and in combination they are great!

I bought these for platform tennis, the most punishing on footwear soles of any sport as it is played on grit aluminum platform in the winter.. I would wear out shoes after three outings and relied on ShoeGoop to stave off holes in the sole. These shoes have so far made it through ten outings and I have only noticed the beginning of wear. They also come with a wear guarantee where Adidas will replace them, something that I haven't done, and if they remain intact, might not be able to do. They also provide excellent support. I already bought another pair for back up.

Well, I guess you can't win them all. I was excited to get this shoe as it seemed inline with the older versions. when I tried the on, they were still but was told they loosen up and break in, which I trusted. Mistake. There was pressure on the bottom of my arch so I figured I'll run on a treadill to see how they go in the event I need to bring them back. Well, I started to run in them it was relentless pressure after about 10 minutes. They didn't loosen up up. The retailer I bought them from---Game Set Match in Colorado--- said they won't take them back because they were 'worn' and that they wouldn't even open a claim with Adidas because they aren't really doing business with them anymore. Bummer. RECOMMENDATION: Adidas offered a few tips to loosen up the shoe sole and release the pressure. They said to use a hairdryer in the shoe until it is barely HOT---next, place the shoe on, tie them up, and wear around to let the sole conform better to my foot. Remove the shoe when the inside is cool.
RECOMMENDATION #2: Place a one gallan zip lock bag in the show. Fill them with WATER. Remove as much air as possible before sealing. Place them in the freezer until frozen throughout. This has the potential to stretch the sole and the shoe to create more space.

So, I haven't tried with trick just yet. I will submit an update when I have.
