Becoming the next great basketball talent has been a quest for many players across America since scoring their first basket in the town recreation league on the eight foot hoops.

As promising “future stars” advanced into the middle school ranks, the level of competition increased as participation on travel teams and in skill development clinics became mandatory preparation steps for immediate varsity impact. At the high school level, serious players begin single sport focused training and pushing their bodies twelve months a year for a shot at All League and All State Honors.

In 2008, the landscape in amateur basketball continued to change and evolve which left very few venues in the country that offer legitimate high major Division One prospects a complete basketball experience. The Reebok All-American Camp was created to be that destination.

On July 6th, 120 players will descend upon Philadelphia, PA to be challenged physically and mentally against other aspiring collegiate stars and future NBA hopefuls. An experienced and knowledgeable coaching staff will navigate intense skill development sessions and competitive team match-ups under the watchful eye of every major college program, scouting service and national media outlet that covers prep basketball in the country.

Many Top 100 players will arrive with big reps and great expectations. But few will have the full complement of skill, basketball IQ and charisma to leave lasting impressions on the Philly fans as 2007 alumni Brandon Jennings, Elliot Williams, Malcolm Lee, William Buford and Michael Rosario displayed.

The Reebok All-American Camp will provide a national stage where playing for the name on the back of your jersey and winning are both of importance. It won’t matter whether you are from Brooklyn, NY, Montgomery, AL or Plantation, Florida. The competition will be fierce and the stakes will be high. But the rewards for those that excel, could last a life time.

Will you be next in line to carry the torch of great high school players that will be featured on magazines and in documentaries? Will you be the player they are talking about most likely to be one and done after your first year of college?
