The Texas Bluechips (Navy) of Dallas, TX squeaked by the D-One Sports team out of North Carolina, despite a valiant effort from D-One’s James Terrell (Burlington Cumm), and Quincy Miller (Quality Education) who put in 15 & 17 points respectfully. In the end however the Bluechips muscled their way to a 55 to 51 victory catapulting them into the semifinal match up with the winner of the New York Panther, Team Detroit game.
In the second game of the cup, Team Detroit found themselves trying to figure out how to handle the pressure defense of the New York Panthers, only to find their shots half way through the first half. Lead by point guard Ray McCallum (Detroit Country Day), who had 10 points, but chipped in about eight to nine assist. His teammate Trey Zeigler (Mt.
